Treća RSNOG i ISOC ION konferencija

Grupa mrežnih operatora Srbije (RSNOG) organizovala je 23. novembra svoju godišnju konferenciju u saradnji sa globalnim Internet društvom (Internet Society), tako da su u Hotelu „Hyatt Regency“ u Beogradu, jedan za drugim, istog dana održana dva skupa – ISOC ION konferencija i Treća RSNOG konferencija.

Već treću godinu za redom, RSNOG okuplja domaće i strane stručnjake koji se bave informacionim tehnologijama, umrežavanjem i internet bezbednošću. Tokom obe ovogodišnje konferencije, biće održan niz prezentacija i diskusija o najnovijim globalnim i regionalnim trendovima u oblasti internet mreža i usluga, a na kraju programa biće organizovan nagradni kviz iz oblasti poznavanja mrežne bezbednosti.

Celodnevni program 23. novembra je počeo u 9.30 ION konferencijom, koja je trajala do 12.30. Treća RSNOG konferencija počela je u 13.30 i trajala je do 17 časova.

Organizaciju Treće RSNOG konferencije pomogli su: Fondacija „Registar nacionalnog internet domena Srbije“ (RNIDS)RIPE NCCSerbian Open Exchange (SOX) i Mainstream.

Prenos obe konferencije mogao je da se prati i putem livestream-a, a sada su dostupni i kompletni snimci.

10:00 – MANRS, Routing Security, and Collaboration
Collaboration and shared responsibility are two pillars supporting the Internet’s growth and success. While the global routing system has worked well, it has significant security challenges that we must address. Kevin will provide an introduction to the “Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security” (MANRS) and Nenad will discuss why they joined MANRS and how we can create a culture of collective responsibility and improve the global routing system.

11:00 – What’s Happening at the IETF? Internet Standards and How to Get Involved
What’s happening at the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF)? What RFCs and Internet-Drafts are in progress related to IPv6, DNSSEC, Routing Security/Resiliency, and other key topics? We’ll give an overview of the ongoing discussions in several working groups and discuss the outcomes of recent Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) sessions, and provide a preview of what to expect in future discussions.

11:15 – Panel Discussion: IPv6 Success Stories
In this session, network operators will share their IPv6 success stories and lessons learned along the way that can help other managers of networks deploy IPv6. How did they do it? What technical, organizational, and political challenges did they face? Panelists will discuss the stages of IPv6 implementation—creating the business case for management buy-in, initiating a planning process, flipping the switch, and, finally, gathering measurements and proving success.
